Due to popular demand, I'm going to run the Supercar Showdown series. Because Nymru said I have to count myself in on my own series. I will now count myself in on my own series.

Rules & Restrictions:
- Cars should be built & tuned to no higher than S700.
- All cars must be RWD.
- Must have all Forza aero installed (If available).
- You may not change vehicle during the series.
- Please be responsible on track. Do not try to ram others of off the track or cut corners intentionally.
- Accidents will be reviewed by myself (unless I am involved, in which case I will let someone else review it). If they can be reviewed on track, agree that you did wrong & let the other guy pass. No need to bring it onto the forum.
- One mandatory pitstop. Between second & penultimate laps (E.G between laps 2 & 18 on a 20 lap race).
- Three mandatory pitstops during the Endurace event, during the pit windows.
- Please dont change your cars paint every race, minor changes are fine though.
- Entry fee of 20'000cr - I have a vinyl on my storefront keywords: FLR SCSD Supercar Showdown. If you could place this vinyl on your car somewhere please.

- Have FUN! I'm not trying to tie you all down to some serious racing, lets just relax on track

- Pitstops - 2 required whenever you want + any others for damage.

- Your worst result from the 4 races will not be counted. Effectively, you'll drive 16 races & your four worst results wont count..
- We will start with grid ordering random for the first race every day, then do lobby points reverse for the following 3 races.
- The endurace race will be on random grid ordering.

Points System:
1st - 12
2nd - 11
3rd - 10
4th - 9
5th - 8
6th - 6
7th - 5
8th - 4
9th onwards - 3
20 Bonus points will go to the person with the best paint, which will be voted on the last race night.

What do points mean? PRIZES!
1st - 500'000cr a firm "Well done, Sir"
2nd - 300'000cr
3rd - 200'000cr
4th - 100'000cr
5th - 50'000cr
6th onwards - 25'000cr
Bonus Prize!: If you can lose every single race, you'll get a damn good slap you shall recieve 250'000cr for trying your best. Note: If you actually try to win this prize, I wont award you any prize money.

You cannot pick up points from any races you dont start. All results are written in as a guide, everyones four worst results will be removed & then the scores will be recalulated at the end of the series.


Thank you to anyone who has helped out so far with this, its great to know that there is enough intrest from you all to want to help me.
I've done my best to figure out how well the cars are balanced, but I've not been able to cover every single car. So if you enter something I havnt tested, I'll contact you & ask if I can run a couple laps in it, to compare against what I have tested. Also, if one person/car starts to dominate I shall give them either power or grip handicaps (Depending on where they dominate)..

The sub compact sounds a laugh but any are ok with me. My only preference is midweek, Mon - thur. Anytime.

I like the Mustangs and I tried to put together the subcompacts in C class but one half was way faster than the other half. If you need help with any just hit me up.

Supercars sounds good. I'd feel dirty in a mustang.

what about a Le Mans/ALMS series with 3 classes or even 4.some like :
p1:Audi R15,Peugoet 908(#9car),Aston Martin Lola,Acura and mazda
p2:Mazda,Acura,Porsche
GT pro:Ferrari,Porsche,Ford,Corvette.
GT am:Ferrari,porsche,corvette.

The only problem with that is having four classes limits each class to two drivers.

i wasnt really going to have races too long anyway.3 classes might work better since you can have one driver for each car and also there could be team battles i.e Audi vs Peugeot etc and also a drivers championship and a manufactor championship as well.

you could put the P1 and GT Pros in a lobby and the other two classes in another lobby? If you get enough people that is....

Hmm, seems about equal intrest in the Mustangs & Supercars.. See I wanna run em all! Thats why I'm leaving it up to you peoples to choose what we run

Yeah, that sounds good Vampira.. I'm just not as much of a fan of higher classes, so I'd personnaly not prefure it. But then again, if everyone agrees to like it, we could work something out..


Any more takers as to a time & day? I dont want to set it up to be dificult for everyone to join in..

There was not a poll on this iteration of MSM vs EUR being on Saturdays.

There was never really an MSM vs EUR I. It was more a case of MSM vs Soulfire and Duck : /

Exactly, that's why we are re-doing it hopefully.

No confirmation of Saturday.. but it's the only day we could make it work last time.. Just assumed we'd use Saturday again.

Also if we do supercars will all supercars be available for use that fit the rule set or would it be limited to say 4 or 5 cars?

Hmm good point AoA, I havnt looked into all the supercars, but I'm guessing most would work out evenly.. I would try to build a rough tune for everyone, but theres no way in hell I'd spend all my credits on cars I most likely wont use

I would think, if supercars were to be chosen, then all could enter if RWD? Or do you know something about them that I dont?..

Hey Face, if you want to borrow any cars to test just let me know as I have most all cars with parts on them. I feel you when it comes to testing for these things gets expensive.

I'm thinking of running the Supercar Showdown series.

I'm guessing that the cars would come out fairly similar? Or would there be a few that'd dominate?

Anyways, what sort of race time(s)/dates would you & everyone be happy with?


Also, kinda thinking of kicking it off with a Nurburgring race, like 9/10 laps or something..

I can't respond to whether one or two would dominate. I defer to Bobbo's blog as it is the closest guide to how they compare and guess you would want them tuned to S700?

Yeah S700 would be the best bet to get all (or at least most) cars open to be used..

I have updated the first post with more information, but for your convenience I've posted it here as well


Due to popular demand, I'm going to run the Supercar Showdown series. Currently I am in the testing stages & have a basic idea in my head of what/how it should be run.

Cars: So far all 'Supercar' bodystyle cars in the game.

Restrictions: Cars should be built & tuned to no higher than S700. All cars must be RWD.

Tracks: Undecided, as said above I'm still testing cars. Tracks will be more handling than speed though.

Races: There will be 3 or 4 races per night lasting for about 15 to 20 minutes each. The series should run for 4 weeks, one race night per week.
We could run an endurance race at the Nurburgring lasting about an hour, to start off the series. You do not have to race in the endurance race if you dont want to, your finish place/points wont be counted towards the final standings.
Must make one pitstop between second & penultimate laps.

Points System:
1st - 15
2nd - 12
3rd - 10
4th - 8
5th - 6
6th - 5
7th - 4
8th - 3
9th onwards - 2

Times & Dates: To be added. My thoughts are saturday evening, 10pm GMT. But can be changed if that is not ok with everyone.


Please bare with me for more info, I'm still running test & such, so everything is still up in the air. I would gladly accept any help in testing cars, as the car choice is quite expencive & testing will result in alot of credits spent. If anyone who is intrested could assist by testing just one car, I would love the help!
