Modern Muscle Car Race

Just so the rules are straight. USA only cars, Front engine, RWD no drivetrain swaps (engine swaps are fine.) A class cars.

Race 1 will will be held on Wednesday 9/15/10 at 8pm (-5GMT) on Road Atlanta full for 20 laps.

Race 2 will will be held on Wednesday 9/22/10 at 8pm (-5GMT) on Maple Valley full full for 20 laps.

Race 3 will will be held on Wednesday 9/29/10 at 8pm (-5GMT) on Road America for 15 laps.

Race 4 will will be held on Wednesday 10/06/10 at 8pm (-5GMT) on Sedona Full for 15 laps.

Race 5 will will be held on Wednesday 9/15/10 at 8pm (-5GMT) on Leguna Seca full for 20 laps.

As you know, I'm very interested in this, I'm just a little fearful that I'll be cutting close with the GT3 series that runs on Wed. night as well. We have qualifing at 9:30.
You should put the races up on the Calender.

We don't run qualifying. We start by 8:15 at the latest.

Don't know if I will make all races because stepson's football games on Weds. but will try.

Race 1 has been done, and done.

Overall, I was somewhere in between of being happy to race with you guys, but at the same time, a little upset because of what happened during the session.

It started off as we had restarted the race twice, both crashes were on lap one, turn one. 3rd race, we did not restart, even though i got hit in the rear end at the beginning of the race, Hillcrest34 and I hit each other and spun out (which I apologize to Hillcrest34 lol), got damage, but nevertheless we did not get to restart (which in my opinion was unfair for not having a clean getaway like the previous 2 restarts ). However, we did do a yellow flag (YAY!), and we caught up and did our pit. Then you said that on the straight away, we'd start, we were still going pit mode at 50mph in the straight away (turn 7, point 8 - which is understandable), trying to figure out when we were supposed to start (which was a little confusing for some of us I think). If you said something in additional at that point, then I may have not heard what you fully said, and I apologize. But the rest of the race was alright.

Furthermore, it seems silly how a vehicle, that's in the same class (A), can over lap us lol. Not saying that anyone here is a cheater, but it does seem kinda silly, it may be just us being too slow, idk. I'm not a great racer, nor am I going to complain about it, but imo, that's silly haha.

I think that whoever's between 5-10K feet ahead of other racers (including the ones in last) should pit to take a break so that the others can have some time to catch up, not saying anyone should "stop" the whole time like yellow flag, but at least give the ones in the back some time to catch up.

I also think that we should have a roll off delay, maybe like 2 seconds per car, and then we can follow the leader in "yellow flag" mode until we cross the finish line, once we hit the finish line, everyone can race. Just so that we don't have to have this accident happen in the first lap, including getting rear ended by someone . lol

But overall SoulTerror, you've got a great series going on, great mind, you are a better racer than me, i'll still race, but i think that tonight's race was kinda meh. Tonight's race was fun, i had fun, i'm sure everyone else had fun on tonight's race I hope that the next race can be handled differently. Something you could think about doing? You are a good dude man.

CJ we didn't restart on the 3rd race because you guys weren't completely dead like the other 2 races. When I was in the Mustang series we never had issues like that starting out so I'm not going to do a rolling start. For the waiting for people in the way back to catch up, I'm sorry but that's not going to happen, doesn't happen in real racing. As for getting overlapped MSMX6 is just a bad cornbeef racer! I thought I was putting down good times for the track coming into the race and he just blew me away and then TurtleTime was also running quicker as well. I know he was putting down times real close to my S class Mustang on that track.

Overall I was hoping the race would of been a lot closer, the practice laps where pretty close but when we did the actual race me and MSMX6 took off to an early lead and he started pulling away form me and Turtle caught up and passed me.
