IVPC & FLR Corvette Club: Series I

Camino was close. gg got me by two seconds overall. he ran a 20:51.0 and i ran a 20:53.3. gg and i swapped the lead twice, one mistake by each of us. we were never separated by more than 500ft for most of the race, was alot of fun. Congrats GG.

road america gg ran away with it. don't remember the overall times there.

Turtle's getting the times compiled as i type this up.

We had some good battles throughout and close racing in both. Mistakes was the game changer for everyone as everyone but GGGspeed was plagued with mistakes.

Great racing guys Camino was anybody's game nothing to choose between me and Rokk only mistakes decided that one and i guess on road America traffic played in my hand a little bit but considering the other lobby results it was close also..Hope you don't mind that i changed the lobby Dom me and Rokk didn't battle it out on the road for a long time and I'm looking forward to the next races

My weekend went just as expected in this week races. I knew my Porsche was gonna be good at Road America. I just didn't think I would win. My car could not take that kink at full speed, I would have to slow down for that kink because if I didn't I'd be upside down into the wall. So it was a shocker to me for winning the lobby and 2nd overall.

Camino was pretty much where/what I expected. I didn't focus on my tune as much or I didn't focus on my line alot either. So if I wrecked anyone(can't remember) I do apologize, I focused all my attention on Road America to make my 911 the best I could and I just forgot about Camino Viejo.

I'll be using this as motivation for next week and for the future races, that 2nd is a huge confident boost for me, I just hope it transcends into wins and more podiums

Yet again the Llama uses his prowess and patience, waiting for the opportune time to strike his wounded prey

Unfortunately, I do not have Sebring's race times. But I do however have Twin Ring Motegi's times.

sorry everyone that i didnt make it. sucks i look forward to this race and the cornbeef talking in rokkos lobby on the other lobby.. (i mean huh? lol) jk but seriously i enjoy the vette races even if i dont win it is enjoyable for me. I woke up at the bright and early time of 12:30 so completely missed the race.. oh well. :/ oh and ill be missing next weeks races as well (will be leaving for indianapolis on thursday)

yeah, i suck. not as bad as i thought i would have though. my best laps weren't too far off, it just takes me too long to get there.

I gotta say, since we only scored points down to 8th place and more than 8 drivers have been in every week, it's no easy task getting onto that driver's board. One more week to go. Good luck!

There were some things about this past weeks races that both disturbed and disappointed me. Do not ask me to elaborate, because I will not at this time. Suffice to say, I will not be competing in next weeks races. Good luck to both clubs!

I second Mako's feeling on this and also will be resigning from this series. I had fun hosting and competing with you guys and look forward to more on track events with ya'll.

WTF now happened ???

I have no idea. Nobody has PMd me with any problems or mentioned anything during a race that makes me think they had a problem with the way the series was being run. Mako doesn't want to elaborate, so I guess we just have to accept that they don't want to race anymore and leave it at that until they decide to share their opinions.

I also will be withdrawing from the series for the same reasons as turtle and MAKO. Good luck to all racing in the finale

I got a PM from Mako and I feel a little better about the situation now. Obviously, not everything is rainbows and flowers, but we'll be able to communicate the concerns and hopefully avoid similar problems for future series. I'm sorry the drivers above, and any other that withdraw, will be leaving.
