i have a new idea for an race. Rally. You might think, "euh rally? there is no dirt track" But i have a new idea, lets take some old rally cars, Like the Evo, lancia, etc, to the road! With some good old livery's
if someone has more ideas, just tell them. R2D suggested to have no engine swaps. I Think that is a great idea.
So i hope you guys will like it.

I have been thinking about making a tourny like this. Here are some rules I thought of in some spare time
same tune of course. the race is 2 laps long, at the start everybody lines up in a straight line and pass the start/finish line in 20 second intervals and once you finish you wait at the end and see your only 'hot lap' the tracks would be rally di positino, fujimi kaido, and maybe the extreme circuit of camino viejo. That's all I can think of! Feel free to take any of this stuff and apply it to your rally

What about B500? as the PI? Is that fair? Or is a rally car faster?

Awesome basis for the idea. B class sounds right but it depends what your trying to mimic - Group N, Group A and WRC type cars are quite limited and really only push out around 300bhp+ but with loads of torque TBF whilst the old Group B monsters were 5/600bhp+, supercharged and Turbo charged,
but then you have the unhomologated hill climb cars which are basically bombs on wheels with things like turbo jet helicopter engines!! ...I know, I get carried away.
Oh you also have the Rally Raid, Group T cars you'd see in Paris-Daker type races: Sadly no Mitsubishi Pajero in the game but we have a few 4x4s and Porsche 959!
...Maybe just stick to World Rally Cars of the 90's?

Hmmm, i'm not sure, what i want to mimic. Because i like all those rally's, what about the rally, when Colin was still alive? We can take some Subaru's, Lancia's, Evo's. Maybe a mix with Modern and the old? Because i think we will make it B500, so it is even for everyone.

I say forget Forza's performence index system and just do whatever you feel fit as to get the most realistic feel in the cars. As for the cars to use, you have a choice of a few. I know of the rally cars in this game the Lancia Delta, Toyota Celica GT-four i believe, Ford RS200, and maybe more I don't know of.
I would put in twin turbo, normal tires, roll cage, weight reduction as a general start. High downforce is a definite must

Can't forget the fiat 131 abarth, brilliant rally car, "The Fiat 131 Abarth was a very successful rally car, winning the World Rally Championship three times: in 1977, 1978, and in 1980 with Markku Alen, Timo Salonen and Walter Röhrl at the wheel.[5] The official "works" cars were sponsored by Italian airline Alitalia and bore their distinctive red, white and green livery." Quote from Wikipedia would be nice if somebody could make this paint too
Oh and ofc the Fiat 500
And... the mini cooper ofc..
You know.. there are a ton of rally cars in Forza3!

I raced around positino and fujimi with a lancia delta at about A551. It is really fun to push so hard through the corners.
Im not sure if we make it A600 or B500. You may vote guys! Godly: Thanks for some help And that lancia, i was going to race in it too. Haha!

I say we do this for fun rather than to win, make the car look and sound good, sure we will race, but have fun while doing it? You know what i mean.. like less serious?

Since it's a rally race I will probably be trying to drift and not trying to place first, and I bet that other people are planning to do this too lol

haha nah i wasnt But good good, looking forward to this! Time to earn the cash to buy this Rally Car Atm iv'e only got 1,935cr, so this may take a while Struggling to chose between the Renault 5 Turbo or the Fiat 131 Abarth
Renault 5 Turbo:
Fiat 131 Abarth:
The Fiat is more sucessfull in rallying so i'll probs go for it, although the 5 Turbo is really fun to drive, ahh too hard lol
Also another one to keep in mind guys, the Datsun 510 was a good rally car:

Lets make it B500PI max? That's what my Fiat sits nicely at, to make it A600PI i would need to use stuff suck as racing tire compounds, which really isn't what a rally car needs
