I gonna throw this up here to see if we can get enough interest to run it.

This series will be multi class and spec build required. There is a limit of 8 cars in each class per race night. First come first serve on reservation of vehicle.
First class is DP: Spec R1 998

The build for DP just requires stock wheels, Buy In vinyl on both sides of vehicle and number on front and side of car.

Second class is GT: Spec builds S- R3 with varied penalties
Group 1: no penalty

Group 2: -5% grip penalty

GT cars are required to run supplied tune, BUY IN vinyl on both sides of car and numbers on front, side and rear of car.

May3,5-Sunset Full Reverse ( Daytona 24) 4 lap Qual/25 lap race
May10,12-Suzuka West ( New Jersey Mtpk) 4 lap Qual/ 30 lap race
May17,19-Iberian Full (Chevrolet 200) 4 lap Qual/36 lap race
May 24,26-Maple Valley Reverse ( Mid Ohio) 4 lap Qual/25 lap race
May31,June2-Sedona Club Reverse ( Circuit Gilles Villeneuve) 4 lap Qual/35 lap race
Thurs. Lobby starts at 9PM
Sat. US Lobby starts 9:30PM
Sat. Euro Lobby starts 2PM GMT
Races will have 4 lap qualifier with collisions off and grid by PI. Compare best laps yes
Races will be collisions on, Limited damage, end timer off and grid by lobby points


Additional info:
Per rules of series penalty will be given to winners and runner up in each class (-5% grip) as equalizer and insure quality racing.
Payout to top 5 finishers in points in both classes
Bonus awarded for fastest lap and top qualifier
Points system- 1st=100, 2nd=98,3rd=96 etc...
In the event a Group 4 cars finishes in top 2 spots in will automatically be gridded in back of pack regardless of qualifying position or given a power penalty previous to race.

In interest to get as many people as possible I would like to run this on 2 days Thurs. night and Sat or Sunday at a time to be convenient for Euro members.

Thursdays? Wouldn't that interfere with Thursday Night Thunder?

I might be interested in this, depends when it starts. I will be going to days soon so I'll have nights back

If I do enter, I'll be using the Vettte GS.

Not throwing stones Rokko just trying to get activity up and Thursday has always be a hot night for activity since I started with FLR.

How do you like how I presented this and would you like more info?

Im down like a clown but weekends seem to not work out for me atm but ill see. Dunno what i wanna use yet. Debating if i should embarress karma or not.

Leaning towards R1 as well Karma. If not, I will definitely be in the SLS GT3.

All the GT cars started out in there street version so SLS is the street car but is a vey good choice as I'm leaning toward it also. It makes beautiful noises.

Dibs on the 458 ferrari. i'm starting to dig this car alot more lately.

im not a fan of the power and grip handicap but probably if anything will go for power handicap rather than grip

Had to handicap cars to make them competitive with each other. This is nearly 5 months worth of on/off testing to get cars equal as possible. The Mustang was the reason for all the handicaps, it just not as good as others.

how many people gonna race the R1s? I want to but have only heard Rokko and Mako, would like some deep competition. If not I'm in the Camaro

tunes are available on my storefront for testing for free, post here when you decide what vehicle you want. Paint will be available unlocked for small fee if needed.

Turtle, please explain the build on the DP cars. The Aston Lola cannot be made 998 with those rims. It's 990 with no restrictors or X class.

In the event there is not enough interest in R1, which it looks like at this point, I'll be in the Mercedes.

I have to admit I didn't build the R1 cars. DB tested all the R1 cars and these were the closest in times and maintain the look of the DP cars. I just requested those wheel to keep the same look thru all the cars. If you can't make 998 I wouldn't be concerned but I will check it out today.
