Multi-class Manufacturer Showdown

Who's the best? Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Nissan, Chevrolet or maybe Bugatti (haha, French!). No need to argue why you believe said manufacturer is the best, now you can prove it. We will be running a series, pitting Manufacturer vs. Manufacturer in multi-class races.

In this series, we will have 2-3 events per month, each event lasting 1.5-2 hours. Some will run on weekdays, some weekends so that all FLR members can participate. This series is intended to have single events, but with a reoccurring theme so you can participate regularly or once in a while, depending on your schedule/interest. Each event will be 2 multiclass races run back to back. You will need a partner.

We will be racing classes B-R2, each race will be set up with specific manufacturers and specific classes. Example are Lamborghini vs. Ferrari in A/R3, Mercedes vs. BMW B/S, Aston Martin vs. Chevrolet S/R2, Acura vs. Nissan B/S, Nissan v. Toyota A/R2, Porsche vs. Ferrari A/R3, Ford vs. Dodge A/R3, as well as many, many other match ups.

Race Setup:
Each event will be 2 multiclass races run back to back.
Each race will consist of 4 teams of 2 per lobby.
Each race will have two Manufacturers going against one another on two tracks.
An example of a race I held in April is as follows.
Team 1, Larry and Daryl.
Manufactures – Chevy (Corvette) and Aston Martin.
Classes S and R2.
Tracks Silverstone and Sebring.
Each driver must drive both classes at different times, therefore in Race 1 at Silverstone, Larry races the R2 Aston Martin DBR9, while Daryl races an S700 tuned Corvette Z06. After the completion of the race at Silverstone, the lobby immediately jumps over to Sebring where Larry now races an S700 tuned Aston Vantage and Daryl races the R2 class in Corvette C6R.

Now apply this to different manufacturers, tracks and classes, but the concept is always the same – your team races both tracks, both manufacturers and both classes, while you as an individual race both tracks, both classes but represent one of the manufacturers and your teammate represents the other.

Rules for the series:
*No heavy rims when tuning a car – these are not an upgrade.
*All cars will retain their original drive train, no RWD to AWD conversions – ever. (Occasionally a car can be changed from AWD to RWD, but only when stipulated.)
*All cars will have a proper team or race replica livery on it with your driver # and name displayed.
*No lowering of class. (Ex. Ferrari A class – you cannot convert the S605 F50 to and A600.)
*Standard FLR rules of racing pertaining to on vs. off track, Bumping, etc.
*No LB cars unless it is stipulated in they can run prior to the race.
*The first race will have a 3 lap qualifier, the second race will be ordered by lobby points, inverted.
*Any other rules/guidelines listed for each specific race.

If you are interested in running in this series, please be specific regarding your best days/times to race. All days are open except Wednesday.
