| Welcome to race seven! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend off. I also hope you got your rest, because you will need it. This weeks event will be a grueling test of endurance and mental toughness as we head to our second road course, Road America. This will be a standard race, 50 laps, sim damage, one required pit, using our standard build cars (PI R2 808). Since there are no other events scheduled this week, we will begin qualifying at 9:00 pm est.
Race notes:
I'm sure everyone is familiar with this track by now. Road America is a fairly fast, long road course, with a combination of fast and right angle turns. Minimum competitive lap times will probably fall between high 2:02's and low 2:05's. Car set ups will be a balance of grip and speed.
Good luck everyone and we'll see you at the track!!

| It's all good CJ. Like I said last night, things happen, it's all part of racing. We've all made the same mistake dozens of times racing each other.
My weekend was a bit disappointing race-wise. I missed the VM race Fri night due to work, and then lagged out last night because of the storm. The second time I dropped out I had lost my internet completely, so I just gave up for the night.
I will leave it to the rest of the field whether to award CJ and I positional points for at least starting the race.

| Race Results:
1st - DBF - 100 pts 2nd - Turtle - 98 pts 3rd - uncabunca - 96 pts 4th - Mako - 94 pts
Team Results:
Team Special J - 18 pts Team EZT - 6 pts
Results note:
After review and a brief discussion among the principals, it was decided that Mako is eligible for positional points due to lagging out on lap 8, which was through no fault of his own.
CJ, having voluntarily dropped out of the race on lap two, is not eligible for points.
