Vintage Le Mans Circa 1967

A storied rivalry of big manufacturer vs. big money racer. Ford vs. Ferrari.
We will be recreating the epic battle brought about by arrogance of one manufacture toward another. Ford GT40 vs. Ferrari 330P4 and Shelby Daytona vs Ferrari 250 GTO.

These will be spec builds and will run tracks that were run during this time.
Starts at Sunset Full, then we travel across the pond to Le Mans Old Mulsanne, and will finish at Sebring Full.
Each race will be apprx. 1 hr. in length and will require 2 pit stops for mandatory " driver changes".

Dates:
Jan 14- Sunset Full at 8 pm EST 36 laps pits between 2-12 and 13-35
Jan 21- Le Mans Old Mulsanne AT 8 pm EST 14 laps pits between 2-6 and 7-13
Jan 28- Sebring Full at 8 pm EST 26 laps pits between 2-12 and 13-25

Payouts will be per class:
1st- $1,000,000
2nd- $600,000
3rd- $400,000

Thanks Turtle. Been really busy lately and this got put on the back burner, so to speak.

Sounds like tons of fun! I'll have to practice keeping those cars on the road, so much power to control.

I'm interested. I don't have the Daytona or the GTO, so if you wouldn't mind sending me the builds for the GT40 and the 330 that would be great.

Not knowing if MSM still has Friday night races lets see if these dates work Jan. 13, 20, 27 at 9 pm EST. If this doesn't work please post time and date available to run.

is there any update on when the races will be ran, im gonna dust off the daytona and hit the track soon

By the way, Jeff will be unavailable for any Friday and weekend races, so he will be absent.
