| the GTS cars the have in the game are the old GTS category which are basically GT versions of supercars (mclaren f1, Porchse 911 GT1 and the Nissan R390) we could do it. though the cars are expensive (the nissan is 2,000,000 CR) | |

| Yea I only have the porsche and can't afford the others. A race I thought about on my way to work is the race rsd vs bnf used in 1st race GT2 cars #92 bmw,#45 RSR porsche, #33 RSR jaguar, #40 ford mk.7, panoz esperante(with restrictors on),and ferrrari f430gt. We ran these at Sebring and it was really close and alot of fun. | |

| The GT2 cars from the ALMS series are a great match up - as we proved at Sebring. The other nice thing with this series is that in ALMS, the GT2's run at the same time as the LMP's - just like Le Mans. Therefore we could do a single class, GT2, or multi-class GT2, LMP1. |

| Corvette/Aston showdown at Le Mans. '07 Corvette wins, '08 Aston. '09 Grudge Match. The drivers for both teams said they ran 21 hours like it was qualifing. Sounds like a perfect match up. |

| The GTR might work, hell Forza calls the GTR/C6R the "Ultimate Showdown." May have taken too long of a drag when they though this one up. As you know, tracks with speed kill the GTR, but it can be very surprising - an example is Silverstone. Some people, I'm not one of them, can make it very competitive there. |

| well from what ive experience the GTR has monster torque but its capped at 500HP so its got great acceleration but not a great top end, like in the stock set up 6th gear is basically an overdrive gear | |

| Yea it hits around 170 and says enough! But it's great accel combined with it R1 like handling make it a strong competitor. I wouldn't run on Le Mans, then again I wouldn't run a C6R on Tsukuba. That leaves a lot of tracks in between those two for some great racing! |

| well, i think we could run an endro series, C6R vs DBR9 vs GT-R. 3 races, Road Atlanta (or any other american track), Silverstone and Suzuka or Motegi. 1.2 hrs each | |

| Sounds perfect! I'll run the C6R at Road Atlanta, DBR9 at Silverstone and the GTR at Suzuka. |

| What i suggest is that we just run whatever car we want like we did here. It'd be fun to run the GTR but in the long run if we dont run any technical tight tracks it wont really be a factor as the top speed portion will just be too much for the GTR,especially on tracks like Road America where alot of Top Speed is needed to run at the front of the pack. While on Suzuka the GTR will just dominate everyone in site because of the execllent handling the car has(trust me i know this first hand). So i suggest we keep the same concept we had as we each run the car of our choice(DBR9,Corvette C6 and C5R,550M and might as well throw in the GTR). And run on the same tracks like Road America,Laguna Seca(again),Road Atlanta and Suzuka so it dont feel like one car has a complete dominance over any other car. |

| well i know the corvette will dominate at Road atlanta and the DBR9 will dominate at sliverstong and the GT-R will dominate at suzuka so i think doulbe points are in order or an away race | |

| I kind of agree with Darkside on this one. The C6.R and the DBR9 are very closely matched but the GTR doesn't really fit. It's got 20 more PI and there's almost nothing that can keep up with it in the corners. It's also limited to 500 HP, and so loses hugely on the straights. I wouldn't have a problem running my DBR9, because I'm always up for a challenge, but I know that I was 2 seconds faster/lap on Laguna when I ran the GTR compared to the DBR9.
Just my view though. | |

| What if we just did the next race with GT500 cars and to mix it up for those that did the GT500 series, pick a track they didn't run on. (Unless the Super GT series is still taking place, which I hope it is.) |

(Unless the Super GT series is still taking place, which I hope it is.) I like that idea stevil but MSM just got done running the gt500 series so im not really a fan of doing it again, especially cuz it just ended like a month ago. Here is my official idea 1.All of us as a "board" would vote on what cars are allowed and what cars arent(i suggest Corvettes,550M,DBR9 and GTR) 2.Then we each pick a main car and a "backup" car(like having a corvette main and a gtr backup or a 550M main and DBR9 backup) 3.Each of us select a track to run to add to the "schedule" 4.Then we vote on what order to race on the tracks 5.Schedule a time that will allow all of us to compete 6.Race and have fun! |

| i like darksides idea Im in the process of getting a board set up. Also if we run a series what would you guys think of making teams of 2 both running the same car and livery and compete for a manufactures championship? | |

Instead of teams of 2,if we have 9 people why dont we get them divided into 3 teams, then we can get 3 more people that will run with us like Mako or RetPetty and whoever else and we can have a format like this Team 1:Dominic Mako,X8Eleven,CMD Team 2:Stevil,Pagan,Hillcrest Team 3:Eurobugg,DBFKiller,Turtletime Team 4:Whoever else join Race 1:Team 1 vs Team 3 and Team 2 vs Team 4 Race 2:Team 1 vs Team 4 and Team 2 vs Team 3 Race 3:Team 3 vs Team 1 and Team 2 vs Team 4 Race 4:Best record Teams face off and Worst Record Teams Face off Race 5:Free For All |

Rob, please read the quotation of mine you placed at the top of this post. Now read it again, aloud if necessary. Now read your response. As you can see, I'm aware of the MSM GT500 series - that's why I mentioned it and suggested a different track. |
