Where: Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe

What: R1 (LMP1) and R3 (GT2) multiclass race

Length: 30 laps or approx. 2 hours

Multiclass race, (classes scored independently),full simulation damage, R1 and R3 - All cars can and should be tuned to the top of their class. In the real world they're known as LMP1 and GT2.

GT2: R3 up to PI of 800
Ferrari F430GTR

Porsche 911GT2RSR (#45 I think - the Flying Lizard one)

Jaguar XKS RSR

We will have a 3 lap qualifier on the Bugatti Circuit prior to the race. All FLR racing rules are in effect. Original, replica or team racing livieries required. Be sure to chose a car/tune that is not only fast, but you can effectively drive for 2 hours, as simulation damage will be on!

Any time works for me, until school starts, weekends will almost have to be a must then.

Looking good so far. We need one more driver to fill the lobby - LMP driver would be great, but if you want GT2, I can run LMP. (Just vacate the track if I'm approaching!) 9 more would be even better so we can have 2 lobbies!

Dates/Times I was considering are: Tuesday 8/3 7:00 PM EST, Thursday 8/5 7:00 PM EST. If either of these dates work, let me know. I'm flexible on the start time (to a degree), so if there's a consensus to start earlier or later, I'm good with that.

Billy, I'd be happy to run with you, or you could team up w/ 8Eleven and I could team up with Godly. I'm flexible so I can team-up w/ anyone in order to balance the lobby.
What's listed below is not how we'll be paired,it just for the sake of accountng for everyone that's in so far.

As far as cars, for LMP my thoughts were the Acura ARX02, Peugeot 908, Audi R8, R10 & R15. THe Dyson Mazda is out, and I seem to recall that the Aston Lola can be tuned to very high speeds, so that may be out as well. We can run the LMP's rest. plate on or off - it's up to the drivers, if off I thought we'd put a 200 mph top speed limit (per upgrade benchmarking) to keep the field close. LMP drivers, let me know your thougths on this as well as if you had a different car you'd like to run.
GT2 cars are Rest. Plate OFF, and the cars are the Ferrari F430GT, BMW M3GTR, Porsche 911RSRGT3, Ford GT Mk. VII and the Jaguar RSR. PI's should run around 780-800.

I can make both today and thursday.

Fail, I believe their is a spot for you, as I don't think AoA will be able to make the race, and he was running LMP.

I can't race on Thursdays, Wed. is muscle car tourney, Sunday is FIA GT1. Tuesday doesn't work for X8, tha leaves Monday, Friday and Saturday. Can we all/anyone race on these days? If so would one of these days work either this week or next.

Friday is good, I will have to rush to make it to the Viper race lol, but it's doable, since there's 3 hours between them.

EDIT: Also, I can make this Saturday.

if those are they only days then it looks like monday is the only day i'll be able to make it, i could do a Friday but only from the 20th. Saturdays dont really work for me as by the time its Saturday night in the US its around 9:30 am on a sunday morning, and generally speaking sunday mornings arn't very pretty for me

Ah, the challenges of real - life schedules. It's looking like there isn't a good day/time where everyone can get together. If everyone's able to figure out a time that works, great - we'll do it. Otherwise, we'll just consider it cancelled.

Semms I'm the only person not able to make Monday. Just for the sake of sportsmanship I'll sit this one out. It wouldn't be fair to everyone else that wants to run if I was the cause of it being canceled. Hopefully I can make the next Showdown
