Clubman Series

Welcome to Clubman Series.
What is the Clubman Series you ask? Well it is a spec series that will run on Friday nights that will highlight 1 manufacturers race car each month with a new manufacture being chosen each month.

Will this have points or payout? Currently it is being planned more as "club" type race but if interest is great enough then yes payouts each month will be considered to top finishers.

How will manufactures and build be chosen? Currently I will be deciding the "spec" for each series. Builds will be available for free on storefront to try out and can be requested from TURTLETIME74 or DBF2KILLER.

What tracks will we visit? Tracks will be selected to appeal to the vehicle being used.

Will Drivers Championship points be awarded? Not at this time because Euro friendly time is not planned.

Alfa Touring Cup using the 1992 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 tuned to A532 Spec Build

Race 1 Sept. 28 Bernese Alps Club Reverse 9 PM start for all races
Race 2 Oct. 5 Camino Viejo Full Sunset
Race 3 Oct. 12 Iberian Reverse
Race 4 Oct. 19 Suzuka East Sunset

2nd Series
Playboy Cup using the 2007 Mazda MX-5 tuned to C425 Spec Build

Race 1 Nov. 2 Sebring Full 9 PM start for all races
Race 2 Nov. 9 Indy GP
Race 3 Nov. 16 Road America
Race 4 Nov. 23 Laguna Seca

Looks like a good start - I've got a 2007 Mazda, but not sure about the Alfa.

why did I just buy an audi a4 and wondered why it was so difficult for me to get it to A532?

I'm liking the sound of this. Any idea when you might get it started?

They may be, but if I remember correctly, DBF is VERY anti-AWD!!

I find myself in a bit of a quandary now. I am signed up for the Nascar series over at VM, which has already started, and runs in the same time slot. FLR is and always will be my primary league and series here take precedence over all others, but at the same time I am not one to break my commitments once I have made them.

Hopefully this has a good amount of participation which will relieve some of my guilt until I finish the VM series. If it struggles I will gladly drop out of the VM races and race here, especially after testing out the Alfa. What a fun little ride!! My slavemaster bosses and their overly aggressive work schedule will undoubtedly keep me from doing either on more than a few nights anyway.

I know how much you love NASCAR and we can't compete with the turn out they get. I fully expect you to represent FLR at VM as much as possible. I hopefully will return there soon.

Of course! All our series are basically make what races you can.

Let's see how I run in practice..

Although the lobby was small much fun was had. Turtle took early lead then relinquished it to DB who walked away from the field. Turtle came from back of field to take second with Bush close behind and CJ fighting hard with AI. Next week continues the door banging action at Camino Veijo Full Sunset.

Had an interesting time with y'all who showed up.

(Oh good god now I'm starting to talk like a Texan now.)
