Sorry I wasn't able to make the race last night, there is an issue with the Army and the Crips right now...I won't be making any races this weekend. Let me know if you guys still ran it, or want to do a make up.

Some good racing the other night. Though I had nothing for DB, V and Turtle certainly kept the pressure up.

DB's Zonda will be receiving a penalty of about 60lbs and I think it came out to 60hp? Turtle and him did testing and basically DB will be running Turtle's set up.

While last nights races didn't go quite as planned for a few of us, it was still a good time. Overall, this was a great series. It was competitive and challenging with some great racing throughout the series. Thanks Karma!

I think Leger433 deserves a big shout here as well. This was his first series with us. He made every race, posted some very good lap times, and was able to keep the pack in sight. Impressive run Leger, look forward to racing with you again!

Has there been Angeles as to whether the UK lobby plans on running or not?

Thanks for the compliment Mako. It's been a lot of fun and I plan on partaking in future races. I've definitely gotten a bit better as a racer by participating in this series. Is the race next week in this series still on?

Also, I didn't get the name of the racer that rear ended me coming off the caution, but I apologize. I was a bit confused on when the caution was ending and let off on the straight. My fault. I actually got the brunt of the damage. I suppose the racing Gods were righting the situation.

Next race is still on assuming we get enough to show up.

And all forgiven on the accident...it was a bad night for crashes overall

As for the UK lobby...still no word from them. I'm pretty sure since MSM scheduled their series the same time as this everyone in MSM dropped. DB will not be recieving a further penalty as he is just a consistent driver. Heading into a speedy track, the Zonda does not need further reduction.

If Ledger wants I would be fine with giving him a +5 or +10% speed to bring him closer

Thanks for the handicap offer, but I don't think that will be necessary. During the Suzuka race I was right with the pack until I overcooked a corner on the last lap. Otherwise I would have been right on Mako and possibly fighting for a position. In addition, I was also hanging pretty well on Mugello until I took some damage. It didn't seem worth pitting, so I ran some pretty slow laps at the end. I really just need to be more consistent.

Can't believe I missed out on this series, sounds great. Was really interested when the thread first started but something about the race times (UK), I think, must have thrown me. Either in a tourny that clashed or they've been changed? However, I digress. My reason for posting is what's the "caution" referred to by Leger433, "...coming off the caution, but I apologize. I was a bit confused on when the caution was ending"? Is this like a yellow flag? If someone could PM me a bit of info/clarify, that would be greatly appreciated. Very Happy

Yes a caution lap was called during the race because multiple people got together. " A caution is called whenever 2 or more people come in contact causing damage and everyone not involved slow to 55-65 mph and allow persons to pit and rejoin the back of the pack before race resumes."

I may not make the race tonight. I came home to no Internet and revolted my modem and router a few times with no luck. I just called my ISP and the line is busy. Not a good sign... If I'm not on at start time just go without me.

The final race of the series was ran last night. After 3 laps of extremely close racing where Mako battled to hold the lead verse the 3 Zondas, disaster struck when I rear-ended DB coming out of a turn onto a long straight away. Turtle and Mako battled it out for the rest of the race until contact sent make well off his pace.

The final race results were:
1 - Turtle
2 - Mako
3 - Karma
4 - DB

Final Driver Points:
Drivers Points:
DBF2KILLER - 70 - 2.5 million
Turtletime - 61 - 1.5 million
Mako 6669 - 55 - 550k
Violation - 46
Karma - 31
Ledger - 18
Rokko - 10
Brikk - 2

Team Points:
Turtle Soup Racing - 131 - 1 million
PLR Racing - 72 - 500k
RMF Motorsports - 46 - 100k
Speed-Rokk - 10
Hooters Racing - 2
No Pants Racing - 0
Half Note Trash Collection - 0

Those who won credits, invite me to a party whenever you see me on and I'll buy a car worth your winnings.

Thanks for those who participated. It was a great series as far as I'm concerned especially as it was my first series. Thanks for the help from Turtle and DB. Hopefully Forza 4 will bring more participants in a similar series, and even closer racing.

This was a great series and a lot of fun. Last nights race was very satisfying because I never do well at LeMans. I had a very good run with few mistakes and a podium finish, so it's a great way to finish up my FM3 career. Kudo's to Turtle on a very close race! I was able to lead for 8 of the 10 laps, but in the end the Zonda's cornering abilities were better than the Audi's. The one small hit was insignificant, just a racing bump. I had sustained minor engine and gearbox damage from downshifting too quickly at the first bus stop, so the small advantage I had enjoyed was gone. Still, it was a great race!

That was some great racing and really had fun racing Mako. Really thought I was gonna make the whole race without hitting him as I was driving over cautiously trying to avoid him as I didn't care where I finished just wanted to be apart of the fun.
