| After the success of the 60s All star series we thought what better way to celebrate than by moving forward a decade and unleashing some muscle onto the tracks once again?
The rules are pretty simple. You can take any car from 1970 - 1979 and tune to D Class. All cars will be RWD with no engine swaps allowed. All other upgrades and tuning will be permitted.
AMC Javelin BMW 3.0CSL BMW 2002 Turbo Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-454 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Chevrolet El Camino SS-454 De Tomaso Pantera Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi Ford Mustang Boss 429 Lancia Stratos Lotus Elan Sprint Nissan Datsun 510 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R Pontiac Firebird SD4-55 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Porsche 914/6
All races will take place at 4:00 PM GMT (12:00 PM EST & 09:00 AM PST) on Sunday.
Tracks and Dates:
July 3rd - Sunset Peninsula Club (15laps) ; Sidewinder D Reverse (18laps) July 10th - Silverstone National (15laps) ; Maple Valley Short Reverse (19laps) July 17th - Benchmark C (20laps) ; Sidewinder F Reverse (14laps) July 24th - Iberian Short (18laps) ; Suzuka West (12laps)
Damage will be set to limited and no pitstop will be required.
For the first race of each Tour, the grid will be set to random. The second race will be set to lobby points ascending.
This means the winner of the first race will be in the back of the second race.
Points will be awarded as follows. If there are multiple lobbies, we'll take the combined finish times to get a top 8 only:
1st: 10 2nd: 8 3rd: 6 4th: 5 5th: 4 6th: 3 7th: 2 8th: 1
The top prize for the series winner will get 1,000,000 credits. Second place earns 250,000 credits

| I'll enter the first 2 races, I'm on holiday from the 17th till the 27th, I think I'll actually be in Cyprus by the time race 3 startss I leave at stupid 'o' clock in the morning.
I'll use the Pantera, Stratos or 2002 turbo I think.

| 1:10:775 round Sunset Club in an Elan
1:07:760 in the carrera
Looking at upgrades the firebird it isn't even going to come close to any of those times...
I've also spent 300k ish on the carrera, so that's what I'll be going with

| I might give this a shot, but I will not promise you that I will be there. I would most likely run the Mustang Boss. |

| More than likely I will miss the first round of this series. My kids were unable to come up for Fathers Day, and they would like me to go spend the day with them this week. I will see you all in round two! | |

| i tried a bunch of different cars again but can only seem to get them into the high 1:07s. im sticking with the camaro though, managed some 1:07.4s at sunset, 1:06 seems outta the question so it might be a walk in the park for dom in race 1. camaro seems to keep up until the long start finish then the pantera pulls away. | |

| To be honest, I don't think the Pantera is all that quick in a straight line. Its got HP for sure, but that old 351 seems to take its time getting wound up. Getting through the first turn without much deceleration or brake input cut off tons of time, and figuring out how to get up onto the oval without sounding like you've been shot by a sniper will help. |

| I can't decide, will have to get serious with some testing but will either be Datsun 510 or BMW 2002 just because I don't think these will get used. | |

| What an idiot! Somehow I was under the impression this started yesterday. Please ignore my above stupidity. As the first race falls during the holiday weekend however, it is unclear at this time if I will be there. Hopefully, I can. | |
