weather physics
More people on the grid at one time.....8 just isnt anywhere near enough

Oh and I almost forgot... 60 second intermission and 60 second timer after first person finishes the race, instead of 90 - 30

More racers
Better/more particle effects; dust, smoke, leaves, backfire
Weather/Nighttime
High res photos, none of this compressed bullshit
Export photos and videos to thumb drive
Much better drag racing support: Stickier track, proper heating of tires, actual tree
Ability to add mini tubs cars so you can stick bigger than 245's on muscle cars

I'd like to see them double the racers on the track to 16, or eliminate the "NASCAR" part of it since 8 cars on a circle track is just dumb looking. I personally don't like racing games that try to be more than one type. I could honestly do without the "formula" cars also. Keep the race versions of the actual road cars ( ACR Viper as an example ) and leave the rest of the crap out.

How about some road rally tracks where steering, braking and throttle control are key for lap times instead of speed. It would be a great track for the smaller cars and a whole new level of tuning. You could have online events where you queue in a line, and each person watches each racer do the single lap around the track until it is there turn. I like this because then you can really "show off" your driving skills online beyond simple numbers.

Graphics editor....I'd like to see Flat paints, candy paints, metallic and regular paints. An eraser tool in the vinyl editor would be sweet if it was possible. Could dramatically cut down the number of layers if it were possible to incorporate.

1. more people in the multiplayer lobbies
2. matchmaking that dosent freeze
3. F1 racing cars
4. remove the locked vinyl/livery system
5. chrome color
6. cheeper car packs (im sure nobody here is as rich as cornbeef to buy a billion car and track packs)
7. more kinds of cars

Less cars, keep the interesting ones. i.e get rid of the ford svt focus and keep the focus 09.

The ability to race online without "Network connection problems". A 16 player race would be nice but if no one can join kinda defeats the point...

It would be very laggy.

im not saying 16 players, but 8 is not enough. maybe 10-14

or at least let you choose.

Shift can do 16 players, though I never actually raced with a full 16, but I know I've done more than 10-12 before without much of a hiccup. I have less than an optimal bandwidth for playing online.
