1967 LeMans Ford GT40 vs Ferrari 330

As there was some interest in finishing this, I have started a new thread for sign ups to make it easier for everyone.

Please sign up here with the car you will be using.

We will use the rules posted in the original thread, they can be found right at the beginning along with the car specs.

I am tentatively scheduling this for Sat the 19th at 9pm GMT-5, as Saturdays are pretty open right now. We will finalize the date and time after everyone has signed up.

The race will be held at Sunset Peninsula Full, 25 laps, with one pit stop.

Im in with my gulf oil gt40 haha

I am currently undecided as of this moment,but im leaning towards the Ferrari

Updated first post with drivers and cars so far.

Well I can't enter and win the first race without considering the 2nd, my GT40 is up for another run!

Seven drivers so far. Could use one more, but that will be good! The race is this coming Saturday, unless anyone has trouble with that.

Just found out im going to be away this weekend so i wont be able to race sorry guys!

No problem Hill, do what you gotta do. Anyone else up for driving the GT40? I will switch over if we don't get another driver.

i'll switch to the GT40, if someone wants to loan me one. i don't quite have the cash to pick one up just for this race though.

Is the GT40 supposed to have full aero or just rear aero?DBF said he would join us if someone would loan him a GT40 or he can run his 330P4.

The way I read the original rules, you must use all the parts that are available for that particular upgrade, so yes, the GT40 would need the front aero as well.

My apologies for delaying this guys! I just wasn't up to racing last night. We will reschedule asap! I have also revised the driver list. Since we are rescheduling, I have added a stipulation that I thought of too late before, but only affects one driver. We will stay with the same car from the original race. The exception is DOM, who was signed up to run the GT, but ran the Ferrari instead.

Bobbo, if you wish to do this race, please stay with the GT40
bloozmahn can stay with the Ferrari, as well as DBF

This will give us the four on four race we are looking for.

I will still do this race and yes i will stay with the GT40,my lap times with both 2 are similiar but i can make sure the GT40 will be faster

I would like to reschedule this for Saturday, March 12th, as this date looks to be open. We will also move the time back to 8pm, GMT-5, to make it a little earlier for Luke. Is this OK with you guys?
